Always my favorite Mexican restaurant in Truckee. The only thing better than the food are the owners & employees. Don't pass on the chilaquiles. Life changing. 100% recommend.

Amazing was visiting out of town brought my son daughter in law., there and 7 month old baby. The staff were so accommodating . You could feel the love in food , service and atmosphere!! Thank you for a great experience!! Definitely will be back when in town!

Sometimes I have to remember to form my own opinion and not be swayed by a lower reviewed restaurant. Soooo happy we ended up eating here!! Food was delicious (homemade corn tortillas...yeesss!), service was personable, attentive and fast, cute decor and Cadillac margaritas were on point! I had the Carnitas, and friends had the classic burritos and enchiladas. Everyone loved their dishes! It's just off the main drag near the Truckee hotel. Highly recommend eating here!

Service so quick . Our waiter was very attentive. Not too fancy but solid drinks and solid food. Burrito's and taco Tuesday were phenomenal. We were so hungry I forgot the photos. Cozy restaurant. Room for everyone

One of the more reasonably priced options in Downtown Truckee! We went for dinner last night and for a group of three with an app the total was $50. Compared to the other options in the area, this is very reasonable! We started with rocket fries and then I got the taco salad with carnitas meat. They forgot the guacamole and salsa and I had to ask but it was brought shortly after. Flavors weren't out of this world but tasty and fit the bill for us.

I was in town for a conference and had dinner at Casa Baeza the last night of my stay; I didn't realize how popular this place was on weekday nights! I think it may have been because of the "taco Tuesday" special lol, but either way I can see the appeal. My group was tucked into the back of the restaurant at a table that gave us a little bit of privacy and was also out of the main thoroughfare of the restaurant so that we weren't getting bumped constantly by people walking around. We were greeted right away by a friendly man that took our drink order and brought a round of waters to the table while we decided on our meals. Drinks came quickly and after placing our dinner order, it gave me a chance to really take in my surroundings. CB seems to have its procedures down pat lol - the efficiency of the staff is honestly impressive. They all seem to work together so flawlessly that a glass is never empty and a dirty dish is never left on a table, occupied or not. Everyone that we interacted with was also super friendly. Our meals came to the table pretty quick and the plates were very hot - something I always like to see. I got a chicken chimichanga that came with a side or rice and beans. The beans and rice were okay; nothing to write home about and similar to many other restaurants' recipes (to my tastebuds anyway). The chimichanga was very yummy, though! The red sauce left a bit to be desired, but the flavors of the meat and the fried exterior were pretty dang good. It was more than I was able to finish so I ended up with some leftovers to take back to my hotel. Overall a good experience with fast, friendly service. I think Truckee is a cool little town and do hope to be back in the future, so if I am, I am sure I'd be up for giving something else on the menu a try! Maybe the tacos on a Tuesday... lol.

This is my seconded time coming here and I knew exactly what I wanted to get, the Danmia Quesadilla 6" Flour Tortilla Stuffed with a Variety of Cheeses, Topped with Grilled Mixed Veggies, Chipotle Mayo, Guacamole, Tomatillo Sauce, & Queso Fresco This appetizer is so delicious! Lots of flavor and the veggies are cooked perfectly. So grateful for a vegetarian option with so much thought put into it! The service was friendly and a cozy restaurant with a few different rooms so it probably holds more people then you'd think.
